Learning Experience 1
Today we will use A Prayer for dealing with sickness.
Use the piece of paper provided to you to draw a tombstone. Add an epitaph that captures in a few words what you hope people will remember about you that is inspirational.
We will share some of our responses.
How do people handle illness so that they remain positive about themselves and about life?
What does the Church teach about dealing with illness?
We will watch a video on the Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick. Make notes as we watch the video. It will be paused at key moments, such as when descriptions appear on screen, so that you can make notes accurately.
You will be asked to contribute to a naming of aspects of the Sacrament that you recall from the lesson.

Matching Pairs Game
A "matching pairs" game has been created to test your understanding of the meaning of the gifts given to those who celebrate the Sacrament of Anointing. Here is the link to the game:
Take the chart on page 257 of the text book and convert it into a poster using Pages or Pic Collage. You can submit your poster through Showbie (Gifts of the Sacraments) for comment.
Attempt a second poster based on the chart of gifts of the Sacrament of Penance, which can be found on page 239 of the textbook.
